* The ancestor of every action is a thought.
Friday, June 4, 2010 __ *Holding my Breath
Today,
raindrops danced along the concrete sidewalks
as I walked down the heart of downtown Toronto.
Everyone around me wasrunning for shelter
but I just walked at a steady pace.

Today,
I enjoyed the smell of the rain,
the way it hits my cheeks,
the sounds it makes when cars go rushing by,
and the way it transforms the city into a million shades of grey.

Today,
my heart suddenly started to beat steadily
because I realized, all this time I was just holding my breath,
so much that, I've become dizzy with exhaustion.

Today,
you proved to me, that actions do in fact speak louder than words.
I would tell you to come to walk with me
but I realized we are really meant to fly.

Let's Soar.

Words of Wisdom
"I walked a mile with Pleasure;
She chatted all the way;
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.

I walked a mile with Sorrow,
And ne’er a word said she;
But, oh! The things I learned from her,
When sorrow walked with me."
