2008 was quite the year.
To say there was a lot of ups and down would have been an understatement,
there were actually more downs than ups.
We lost a lot of people this year,
a lot of families have lost a vital member of their families,
but, I know that they are all in better places.
I learnt a lot this year,
from learning to balance life,
from realizing how precious your life is,
to learning how much a rock my family is,
to realize that not every boy will make you cry,
My 2008 Thank Yous go to:
Lambda Phi Epsilon; Toronto Chapter - for being the 'manpower' to help my aunt rebuild her life after the fire. I don't know how many times I thanked you. I see you guys as my little brothers and you guys make me so proud. I know this chapter is going to do great things!!
Maina Woo - For being my voice of reason and logic and also my voice of IMPLUSIVE BUYS lol.
Michael Chan; Jarrett Funeral Home - thank you for taking care of all the funeral arrangements when it was hard for family. You don't know how much you have helped the Lim family. Your job is so important!
Randy Carvier; Coworker - For being my other voice of reason and logic and never failing to make me smile no matter how upset I am
GM Family - for being my 'family' away from home, thank you for never underestimating my abilities because of my size and for always always making me feel welcomed and part of the team
The UFA Gang - for being my distraction when I needed one, for being a shoulder to cry on when I was upset, for being an amazing group of people that I love to be in company with
Stephen Lim - For being the most amazing person I know, for making me realize everyday how lucky I am, for never making me cry for the past 2 years, for accepting me for who I am even on my ugly, stinky days =), and for being the only person that knows me even better than myself.
To 2009,
I know this year, a lot of great things will happen!
My new years' resolution:
simple, to stay positive even in the my darkest times.
