Although it didn't really go the way I planned it, it was still extremely memorable and worthwhile. First off, I didn't go to New York as planned, even if I did I would have missed a lot of great family gatherings. I finished all my Christmas shopping at the 23rd. I know, pretty last minute but at least I got it done.
Highlights:
Sunday - Steve's family + extended family Christmas Party
- 20+ kids running around teasing me
- great food with amazing company =)
- lots of gambling
- finally met the WHOLE family!
Monday - Mom's Restaurant Company Party
- Mom getting tipsy and ended up dancing up a storm
- Lots of amazing food... yummie, I think I gained like 5 pounds over the last 2 days
- Drunk co-workers = priceless moments
Tuesday - Christmas =)
- Cousins came over for a huge sleepover
- Bowling + BBT with sister, cousin + steve
- Thanks for an amazing Christmas Stephen... especially for the card!
This is the first Christmas with my boyfriend. Last year I was on a plane heading to Vietnam. I guess I do have high expectations for Christmas...it's my favourite holiday but expectations or none..I had such an amazing holiday. It was filled with family, friends and lots of love. Just the way it was suppose to be.
